Best for
Rom-Com Bingo is a practical choice for groups, celebrations, classrooms, and hosts looking for a ready-to-customize activity.
What’s in this template
Rom-Com Bingo starts with 55 editable callouts, including “The Big Sick”, “The Proposal”, “She's the Man”, “Music and Lyrics”, “Sassy Best Friend”, and “Secret Crush”. Use these as a ready-made source list, then swap in details that fit your group.
How to use it
To play, read each paired callout, then let players mark the matching answer. Start with the provided callouts, add details that fit the group, and choose a clear win condition before the game begins.
Rom-Com Bingo turns rom-com into a flexible game for a group, classroom, party, watch-along, or independent activity. Its 55 editable callouts include Awkward Meet-Cute, Sassy Best Friend, Love Triangle, Unexpected Kiss, and Dramatic Rain. Because the bank contains more entries than one 5×5 card can display, generated cards can differ while staying focused on the same topic.
Shuffle the callout bank before the round and read one item at a time. Players mark the matching square, and the host can pause when a callout needs context or a quick explanation. Decide before starting whether one line, four corners, an X, or a blackout wins. A line keeps the activity moving; a blackout works better when the event itself is long enough to support it. The center FREE square is added automatically and is not part of the source bank.
The source notes add this guidance: Play: Caller reads entries at random. Players mark the matching text. Review the wording for your audience, replace any entry that does not fit the setting, and then generate the number of randomized cards you need. Saving the edited source list also makes it easy to reuse the template with a different group without rebuilding it from scratch.
